Yosef Kanefsky

Rabbi Kanefsky was ordained in 1989 at Yeshiva University, where he also received a master’s degree in Jewish History. He began his rabbinic career in 1990 as the associate rabbi at the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale in New York, where he worked under the tutelage of Rabbi Avi Weiss.

Robert Scheinberg

Rabbi Robert Scheinberg is the rabbi of the United Synagogue of Hoboken, NJ, a vibrant urban Jewish community right outside of Manhattan. He teaches liturgy at the Jewish Theological Seminary and the Academy for Jewish Religion.  He served on the editorial committees for Mahzor Lev Shalem (2010) and Siddur Lev Shalem(2016), prayer books for Conservative Judaism published by the Rabbinical Assembly and currently serves on the Rabbinical Assembly’s Committee on Jewish Laws and Standards.

Richard Hidary

Richard Hidary is associate professor of Judaic Studies at Yeshiva University and a rabbi at Sephardic Synagogue in Brooklyn. He is the author of Dispute for the Sake of Heaven: Legal Pluralism in the Talmud (Brown University Press, 2010) and Rabbis and Classical Rhetoric: Sophistic Education and Oratory in the Talmud and Midrash (Cambridge University Press, 2018).

Rachel Barenblat

Rabbi Rachel Barenblat is a founding builder at Bayit: Your Jewish Home and serves Congregation Beth Israel, a small Reform and Renewal congregation in western Massachusetts. Author of five volumes of poetry, among them Texts to the Holy (Ben Yehuda, 2018) and 70 faces: Torah poems (Phoenicia, 2011), she holds an MFA from Bennington and ordination as a rabbi and a spiritual director from ALEPH.

Pamela Jay Gottfried

Rabbi Pamela Jay Gottfried is the Dean of Jewish Studies at The Weber School, the only high school serving students from all Jewish backgrounds in Atlanta. She is a Rabbis Without Borders fellow and certified speaker of the Interfaith Speakers Network, which promotes dialogue and understanding among people of different faith traditions.

Jesse Olitzky

Rabbi Jesse Olitzky has served as rabbi and spiritual leader of Congregation Beth El in South Orange, NJ since 2014. He received rabbinic ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary’s Rabbinical School. In addition to ordination, he received an MA in Jewish Education from JTS’ William Davidson School of Education, a BA in American Religion from Columbia University and a BA Cum Laude from the Albert A. List College at the Jewish Theological Seminary in Talmud.

Daniel Levitt

Daniel Levitt is the Executive Director of the Hillel at Temple University: the Edward H. Rosen Center for Jewish life in Philadelphia. He is originally from West Orange, New Jersey. Since receiving ordination, Daniel has served as assistant Rabbi of Congregation Sherith Israel in Nashville, Tennessee, summer Rabbi at Congregation Agudath Achim in Bradley Beach, New Jersey, as well as Hillel Director and educator for the OU Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus at the University of Guelph in Ontario.

Isabel de Koninck

Rabbi Isabel de Koninck has served as the Executive Director and Campus Rabbi for Hillel at Drexel University since 2010. A native of Montclair, New Jersey, she is a 2004 graduate of Brandeis University, and received rabbinic ordination from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 2010 where she additionally completed a graduate certificate in Jewish Gender and Women’s Studies in partnership with Temple University.

Before coming to the Bronx, he served for seven years as the spiritual leader of Congregation Eitz Chaim, in Monroe, NY and as student rabbi at Neve Hanna, a home for youngsters from dysfunctional families in Kiryat Gat, Israel.

Alana Suskin

Alana Suskin is an educator, activist, and widely-published writer. She is currently studying in the advanced kollel executive ordination program at Yeshivat Maharat, a feminist, Orthodox, rabbinical ordination program. She holds BAs in Philosophy and Russian Linguistics, an MA in Philosophy and a graduate certificate in Women’s Studies, a master’s of rabbinic studies and ordination from the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in California, and is a popular speaker and teacher around the country.
