Our online magazine, The Wisdom Daily, offers fresh perspectives on meaning, identity, and spiritual life from our Clal faculty and alumni.

The Wisdom Daily is Clal’s online magazine exploring faith wisdom and everyday life. Featuring articles by cutting-edge clergy and faith thinkers, most of whom are alumni and partners of Clal, The Wisdom Daily leaves readers with new ways of thinking about their lives.

In 2026 Clal welcomed our first cohort of The Wisdom Daily Writers Circle.

These talented writers and thinkers are spending the year exploring the intersection of timeless faith wisdom and contemporary life, crafting monthly pieces for The Wisdom Daily that bring fresh perspectives to the questions that matter most today. 

Led by Clal’s Rabbi Julia Appel, Editor of The Wisdom Daily, the group meets monthly for editorial planning and creative community, and through their writing, contribute to Clal’s mission of making Jewish wisdom a public good accessible to all.
