Our Research

A custom qualitative research report on the experiences of young adult Jewish seekers in Toronto, this report outlines the success factors for Jewish community newcomers being able to find their home in Jewish life. With the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto.
Chesed—acts of care and lovingkindness—is a foundational purpose of Jewish community. Yet, many synagogues have trouble creating and maintaining functioning systems to deliver care to their congregants. This research uses practitioner interviews to identify key difficulties and best practices for delivering timely, thoughtful, and equitable care.
Research that brings data to light on what it means to be Jewish in the workplace today. Our findings reveal both challenges and opportunities for companies striving to create truly inclusive environments.

This national research study is a first step toward mapping and understanding the growing field of spiritual innovation. Across the country, new efforts inspired by the world’s religious traditions are emerging as traditional congregations become less central to how people access spiritual life in public. The study was conducted in partnership with the Chaplaincy Innovation Lab, innoFaith, and Faith Matters Network, with support from the Henry Luce Foundation and other partners.
