Founded in 2016, Glean Network seeks to bring together leaders who are prepared to reimagine their ministry, offering them the tools, experiences, and coaching to support them in their journey.

The fastest-growing religious group in the country is now the “Nones”—those who claim no religious affiliation—and thousands of houses of worship have closed each year for over a decade. Yet amid this decline, a hopeful groundswell is emerging: bold, visionary leaders are reimagining faith and spirituality, creating innovative projects that are categorically redefining the role and experience of faith and spirituality in public life.

Since 2016, as one of the only multi-faith capacity builders focused on spiritual innovation and leadership development, Glean Network has had the privilege of supporting hundreds of diverse leaders across the country in developing and launching new models of faith and hope in action.

Through engaging workshops, trainings, curricula, and convenings, Glean Network has worked alongside partners to build the field of spiritual innovation, serving as a valuable third space and capacity builder for today’s religious leaders and institutions.

Glean Network’s anchor program, START, is an MBA-level entrepreneurship and design thinking course for faith-rooted leaders that develops the key mindsets, skills, and competencies to launch, sustain, and scale spiritually grounded initiatives that respond to real community needs.

In addition to our capacity building programs, Glean Network regularly participates in ecosystem wide efforts and strategies to advance the field of spiritual innovation, contributing to national research and collaborative projects that aim to strengthen religious leadership, institutional partnership, and innovative approaches to meet the complex spiritual and social challenges of today.
