Rabbi Sarah Barukh is one of the Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) educators at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a 950-bed acute care and teaching facility located in Los Angeles. Prior to serving in this capacity, Rabbi Barukh provided direct patient care as one of the medical center’s Jewish Chaplains.

Rabbi Barukh earned her rabbinic ordination from the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies at the American Jewish University, along with a master’s in rabbinic studies. She has also spent time in Israel studying at Hebrew University’s Rothberg International School and at The Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem. Rabbi Barukh completed her CPE training at Childrens’ Hospital Los Angeles and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She is board-certified through the Association of Professional Chaplains and is currently in the process of completing her Certified Educator training through ACPE.

Outside of work, Rabbi Barukh enjoys spending time with her family and community, and she and her husband are the proud parents of three sons.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
