Ideally you will choose to perform Nightwords, in its entirety, in your community. We understand that it is more likely that you will do this in the future when you have more time to work with the piece.
For those of you interested in using an excerpt from Nightwords in your Yom Hashoah program this year, David Roskies suggests using sections two and three in their entirety, which together comprise the "core" of the piece.
For the chazan or rabbi who would like to chant a section, Roskies recommends section eight, kriyah and the yiddish songs at the end of section three.
