Upcoming Special Programs and Events

Each year CLAL hosts or participates in programs across America that are open to the general public. The list below includes all the information you should need if you are interested in attending one of these events.

CLAL Rabbinic and Professional Leadership Retreats

One week programs are scheduled in various cities in any given year. Participation is by nomination.

CLAL Rabbinic Internship Program

This program runs throughout the academic year with participants meeting one afternoon each week. CLAL encourages advanced rabbinical students from across the denominational spectrum to apply for the program. Applications should be made in the Spring for the upcoming Fall.

The CLAL Post-Graduate Fellowship Program

This program runs from September through the following August. Applications should be made before March 1 of the prior academic year.

Lay Leadership Development Programs

Most CLAL programs for lay leadership are offered by local Federations and organizations. If you would like to know what programs are either ongoing or coming to your area, you should contact your local federation.
