Rabbi Without Borders to Teach in Medical School

December 5, 2011

Rabbi Jason Miller has been invited to teach in the new Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Rochester, Michigan (http://www.oakland.edu/medicine).

The course will be a requirement for all Year 2 medical students and will focus on medical ethics from a religious perspective. Miller is currently creating the course with fellow teachers Charles Mabee (Christian) and Saeed Khan (Muslim). The three will team teach the eight-week course twice a year. Miller has been an adjunct professor at Oakland University since 2008 and teaches an online course in the Jewish Studies department each semester.
