The National Jewish Resource Center

The National Jewish Resource Center develops new practices and provokes new understandings of ancient practices through innovative publications, recordings and educational materials. The Center is an ever-expanding storehouse of new thinking on Jewish healing, spirituality, liturgy and ritual.

CLAL's Resource Cards generate lively, pluralist conversations connecting the lived lives of North American Jews with the inherited Jewish tradition.

Expanded resource booklets, like T'shuvah: A Haggadah for the High Holidays, include exercises and classical teachings designed to engage and provoke readers to a renewed sense of purpose as they approach the holidays and significant lifecycle events.

The Jewish Toolbox is The National Jewish Resource Center's new, web-based initiative. With the Jewish Toolbox, CLAL has created a living and learning laboratory for the development of new rituals and practices attuned to the needs and sensibilities of the current age.

CLAL's Jewish Spirituality and Healing Initiative is a unique series of conferences, seminars, publications, and curricula intended to help doctors, health care professionals, caretakers, and patients discover Jewish resources on illness and healing. CLAL's compelling curriculum provides a sensitive understanding of the Jewish components that address healing for those who are ill and those who provide them with care. "Jewish Healing: A Conference for Jewish Lay Leaders and Professionals" is a workshop-style program intended to connect ancient texts and traditions to the needs of today. These programs have positioned CLAL among the most prominent North American organizations in the area of Jewish healing.
